CMD120 Hydraulic Drilling Rig
In late February, Beyond Company's CMD120 hydraulic drilling rig reached the delivery stage and was accompanied to the Jincheng site to observe and learn relevant knowledge.
The drilling rig
The CMD series drilling rig now belongs to modular drilling rigs, which are easy to disassemble and can be quickly moved.
This type of drilling rig does not drill very deep and has high drilling efficiency.
A well with a good bottom condition of about 1000m may be completed in a week; due to the general geological conditions or the occurrence of accidents such as drilling jamming, it can usually be completed in about two weeks, so it is necessary to frequently move the drilling rig to achieve efficient drilling.
The main components of the drilling rig include:
(1) Power head: composed of hydraulic motor, gearbox, pulley, hydraulic lifting device and other components;
(2) Hydraulic system: composed of five parts-power unit, oil tank unit, control valve group, actuator, and pipeline system;
(3) Mast Assembly: Composed of an inner mast, an outer mast, a hole centering plate, a feeding system, etc;
(4) Tool winch and lifting arm: used for lifting wellhead tools and other components;
(5) Power catwalk: composed of a base, lifting arm, upper arm, V-shaped plate, vise, etc., it is a drill pipe and casing conveying equipment, which is used in conjunction with hydraulic top drive (power head) to complete single strand or drilling operations;
(6) Hydraulic Roughneck: Clamp the drilling tool and make up-break down buckles;
(7) Drilling platform: telescopic structure, equipped with escalators, floating platforms, guardrails (with kickboards at the bottom), and equipped with BOP slides and pulleys;
(8) Automotive chassis;
(9) Power system: dual engines, one for chassis vehicle travel and one for driving hydraulic stations (hydraulic motors);
(10) Driller's cab and other equipment.
