Generally, mud pump fluid end spare parts are easily to operate and replace. For mud pump power end spare parts installation, it must follow assembly process card.

Here we would like to introduce the installation of bull gear and crankshaft.

1. Hot mounting of the bull gear. Heating temperature 160℃-180℃, keep warm for 1 hour

2. Before installation, the two joint surfaces should be carefully inspected. There should not be any high spots or dirt.

3. When assembling, pay attention to the marked side of bull gear end face as the assembly reference. Use this end face to stick to the crankshaft neck shoulder together; the end that is eccentric by #2 is left-handed, and the end that is eccentric by #3 is right-handed.

4. Use 12-1 1/2-8UN bolts to tighten the bull gear and the crankshaft. The tightening torque of the 11/2-8UN nut is 2134-2202N.m, the nuts must be tightened symmetrically, in stages, and evenly.

5. After installation, use a feeler gauge to check the mating surface of the crankshaft and the large ring gear through the process hole on the large ring gear. The gap should not be more than 0.05mm.
